In general, the Halloween show runs every Thursday through Sunday in October, plus Halloween night, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM CDT. The Christmas show runs every Thursday through Sunday in December, plus Christmas Eve, from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM CST. I will generally run the show at any time that it is not actively raining.
In the interest of my neighbors’ sanity, we do not project audio during the show. Please turn your car’s radio to 107.1 FM to hear the audio.

As of the Christmas 2025 show, we are controlling somewhere around 7,200 individual pixels.
I get a lot of requests on TikTok in particular — I certainly do not end up pursuing every idea sent to me, but I read them all and often use your suggestions in future shows, so please send them over!
Not noticeably. We have come a long way since National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. I have measured our output with a multimeter and we can safely run the current show, projector, and laptop on a 15 amp circuit with room for expansion.
I guess it depends heavily on what exactly you’re doing. Remember also that time = money, and you’re going to spend a lot of time on this.
Probably a solid week of sequencing, another week to build and install the decorations because I’m always adding new stuff, another day to test and fix. The first few times around were certainly longer.
Alright, no one has ever asked me this, but I surpassed one mile of wiring with our 2025 show. There are a lot of extensions hiding in our gutters.
